About this product

Gujarat produces the overwhelming majority of the world's psyllium, and Parmar International sources directly from processors in the Unjha and Siddhpur belt where that industry is concentrated.

Purity grade is the decisive specification. 85% and 95% grades serve the bulk dietary fibre and food ingredient market. 98% and 99% pharmaceutical grades — cleaned to a far tighter tolerance on light husk and foreign matter — serve supplement and pharmaceutical formulators, and are the grades where swell volume becomes the governing quality metric.

We supply whole husk, husk powder and psyllium seed. Buyers formulating finished supplements generally take 95% or 99% husk; food manufacturers adding fibre to a base product take powder. Every consignment ships with a certificate of analysis covering purity, swell volume, moisture and microbiological limits.
