About this product

Fresh lemon and acid lime sourced from Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The Indian lemon is characteristically thin-rinded with high juice content and sharp acidity — a different product from the thicker-skinned Mediterranean lemon, and preferred in markets where the fruit is used for juice rather than zest.

Fruit is graded by count per carton rather than by weight, which is the convention buyers in the Gulf and Southeast Asia work to. Grading covers colour uniformity, freedom from blemish and firmness. Fruit is washed, waxed where the destination market permits it, and pre-cooled before loading.

Cold chain is non-negotiable on this line. Reefer temperature is held at 8–10°C; above that range the fruit yellows and softens in transit, and below it cold injury sets in.
