About this product

Fresh onion sourced from the Nashik and Gujarat growing belts, India's principal export regions. Nashik Red is the volume variety — firm, good keeping quality, and the standard for Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian buyers. Bangalore Rose is a smaller, deeper-coloured onion with higher pungency, taken mainly by Malaysian and Singaporean buyers.

Onions are cured before packing, which is what determines shelf life more than any other single factor. Curing dries the outer skin and neck, sealing the bulb against moisture ingress and rot in transit. We size-grade after curing, so buyers get consistent count-per-bag rather than a mixed lot.

Supply is seasonal and price moves considerably through the year. We advise buyers on shipment timing where flexibility exists — a two-week shift in loading date can be a material difference in landed cost.
